During an active assessment, the Service applies client-side checks in your browser — detecting tab or window focus changes, blocking copy/cut actions, blocking the right-click menu, and attempting to detect the Print Screen key — and shows you a warning and running count when these occur, as described in our Terms and Conditions. These checks run only in your browser during the session; the Service does not use webcam or microphone access, screen recording, or third-party proctoring tools. We use the information described above to operate the Service: saving and restoring your in-progress work, tracking completion of challenges, generating certificates, and displaying assessment integrity warnings to you. We do not use this information for advertising and do not sell it.

The Service uses browser local storage to remember your display theme preference (light or dark mode) and a cookie to remember whether the navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed. These are functional preferences only. The Service does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

We do not sell your information. We do not currently share assessment or candidate data with third parties, except where required to operate core infrastructure (such as our database hosting provider) or where required by law. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information stored by the Service. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
